Hello my lovelies! No excuses now. Don't tell me you've forgotten it's happening. It happens every year, around this time, and it is always fabulous.
Because you lot make it fabulous.
Submissions for Artspace 2009 close on the 26th of April. What I need from you at that time is names and numbers of pieces, a short bio about yourself, prices if they are for sale, and a low res picture if you have it.
The weekend after that, the saturday 2nd of May, is when your piece or pieces need to be dropped off to me at Aurora gallery. I need to sign for your pieces! If you need to drop it off at another time it must be arranged with me in advance. I am quite flexible, and only bite when provoked. There will be a flat $10 fee for submission, no matter how many pieces you enter, and the gallery charges a 15% commision on all sales.
Opening night is on the monday 4th of May of course you will all be attending. There are prizes!
The gallery will run for a week, so you can take your mum to see how pretty your stuff is. We will be taking down the gallery on the saturday 9th of May, and that is when we would appreciate you coming to collect anything that hasn't been sold.
